Motorways for Italy has announced the state of the entire road network of the group, traveled with the exception of a short stretch. The snowfall and icy rain phenomena that have raged for two days on Liguria, Piedmont, Lombardy and Emilia Romagna have created some hardships that have been resolved. The Group recalls that the phenomenon of freezing rain is not counter to the preventive treatment of salting of pavements (performed with constant frequency and large quantities from the day on Monday), because the water droplets freeze instantaneously upon contact with the ground. The only case in which the situation is still being resolved is the A26 Genoa-Voltri Gravellona Toce tract between Alessandria and Casale Monferrato north, south, when closed and is ongoing in the restoration of the incidents. The reopening is expected shortly.
